Most common questions regarding the Spanish programs

What is included on One and Two week immersion programs?

  • One Week and Two weeks include everything necessary to live the complete Experience.

  • Among other things, food, transportation, educational materials, tickets to attractions, etc, are included.

  • Basically, you will only need to purchase your plane ticket and extra transportation needed to arrive at property.

  • Accommodation the Sunday before the start of the Experience is also included.

What is NOT included in the Experiences E7 and E12:

  • Round-trip airfare to main Airport

  • Transportation from main airport to property.

  • Souvenirs, snacks, additional purchases in shops or restaurants

How do I get from Madrid or Santiago de Compostela Airport to the property where the immersion takes place?

  • Train or bus are the best ways to get there. Sarria train and bus stations are the closest to the property. A staff member can pick you up there. Transportation to Sarria is not included. Our staff can assist you with information regarding this.

Do I need to bring anything special?

  • Appropriate clothing for the season in which you are traveling. Check the weather to pack accordingly. Remember that there is a lot of walking during excursions and trips. Try to bring comfortable changes of clothes for long walks.

How do I make the payment for the experience?

  • We have a dedicated portal for making payments. Only credit card payments are accepted.

Can I stay longer in Spain and travel around Europe?

  • Of course, once your experience is concluded, we recommend taking a getaway to a city of your interest in Spain. Our staff can provide advice if needed.

Is the hotel room included?

  • Certainly. Experience of 2 weeks includes 13 nights of accommodation. Experience of one week includes 7 nights. Sunday before experience starts is included too.

Are meals included?

  • Absolutely, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included every night you're staying, whether at home or during outings. Snacks or special requests are not included.

How far in advance do I need to book?

  • As long as the date is available on the portal and your itinerary allows you to arrive on the day the experience begins, you can make the reservation.

What level of Spanish do I need to take the experience

  • All guests are welcome, from beginners to advanced. We have a special approach of the program for guests that have zero knowledge of Spanish, we will tailor it for you to blend on the group. Schedule an interview with our team to determine you spanish level and set you up with the group accordingly.

What day do I have to arrive?

  • You need to arrive in Triacastela on the first day of your Experience, usually check-in is at 2 pm. If you need to arrive earlier or later, there is flexibility. Contact your advisor for details.

What type of Visa is required?

  • As a tourist, depending on your country of origin, you may or may not require a Visa. The United States, Canada, and Australia only require a valid passport with at least 6 additional months of validity at the beginning of your trip. Countries in the European Economic Community have visa-free travel, of course.

What other expenses may arise during the trip?

  • Anything outside of accommodation or activities and outings organized by us will need to be covered by you. Souvenirs and additional purchases are the responsibility of each student. Hotel expenses before starting the Experience and the following day are not included. We recommend heading to the property where the immersion takes place immediately after landing in Spain.

Am I insured for incidents during the Experience?

  • Yes, we have insurance for all our students. Read here for more details.

Do you offer additional accommodation for companions who do not participate in the experience?

  • Yes, if there is availability at the property, companions can stay directly there. They will not be able to participate in the experience but will enjoy everything the place has to offer.

What happens if I can't make it to the experience?
